I have suffered with heartburn and acid reflux for years. I was taking prilosec, or tums or both together for years. I was having back spasms and pain in my chest, up my arm and neck. I went to the doctors for my back and just mentioned that I get heartburn/acid reflux pretty bad. He asked me how often it occurred and in my own ignorance I laughed and toled him “everyday”. Hi Cindy,

Sorry to hear you have BE. Did you get a 2nd opinion of your biopsy slides when you were diagnosed with BE?
How long (in cm) is your Barrett's segment? Did the pathology report say you had dysplasia?
