Hello I am 26 and think I might have colon cancer, I have been having these symptoms for 4 months now , but my doctor refuses to refer me for a colonoscopy becuase he says I am so young and colon cancer would be very rare for me, and my insurance wont cover me inless I get a referral.
here is a list of my symptoms and I was wondering if it could be something else like IBS or does it sound like it is more than likely colon cancer here are my symptoms.


pain in abdomen (ussally is in upper left but sometime moves)

pain in left side of back

really bad rumbling in my stomach

diareah mixed with constipation

mucus in stool (not always but sometimes)

blood in stool, The doctor gave me a FOBT test and two were positive for blood and one was negative



I have lost my appetite (just dont feel hungry anymore)



Weight loss( the weight loss was before I lose my appetite, when I was still eating good.

Nasea

real bad bloating and pressure in my stomach

feel full easy


I am so affraid that I have cancer , and my questions is 1. does this sound like colon or stomach cancer? 2. is there any thing else such as IBS that can cause these variety of symptoms? what should I do since my doctor wont refer me to a GI? and is there any other test that can help diagnos colon or stoamch cancer? please respond back ASAP thanks
