My best friend has been fighting this disease for almost 2 years now. This last Friday her doctor told her they were taking her off this last chemo she tried (erbutux) as it was not working, and that there is nothing else they can do for her. The tumors in her liver have not only increased in size, but also in number. He has recommended hospice care for her. She is in her mid 50's and I am not ready to lose her. Can anyone give me any information on what all this means time-wise and what the end will be like for her?
